Our corrections policy
Every rating on this site is built from public sources: IRDAI data, insurers’ public disclosures and each plan’s own policy wording. When a figure is wrong, out of date or read incorrectly, we correct it, recalculate the affected ratings and record the change below. We never change a rating because an insurer asks us to — only because the published evidence shows it should change.
How to report an error
Email corrections@insurancerating.in. Insurers, intermediaries and users are all welcome, and insurers have a right of reply on anything we publish about them. Please include:
- the insurer and plan name (and variant, if relevant);
- what you believe is wrong, and what it should say;
- a link to, or copy of, the public document that shows it — e.g. the policy wording, CIS or NL disclosure form.
Please don’t send personal health details or policy numbers — we don’t need them.
What we do
- We check your report against the source document.
- If we confirm an error, we aim to fix it within 7 working days and add it to the change log below.
- If we don’t agree, we reply and explain why, pointing to the source we relied on.
- Either way, we reply to every report.
See How we rate for the data sources and rules we apply.
